Sto cercando un tour operator locale e dei compagni di viaggio. Farò foto all'architettura timuride, cupole delle moschee coperte da maioliche azzurre, pilastri con mosaici....il contrasto tra l'azzurro e la terra gialla.....
itinerario: Tashkent solo per atterrare ma non visitarla, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, volo a Tashkent e ritorno in Italia
Voli con Turkish Airlines da 556 euro andata e ritorno, MIlano Malpensa-->Tashkent International, diretto. resta sempre uguale il costo essendo di linea
Al tour operator chiederò: visto per 10 giorni, hotel, trasferimenti in treno tra le varie città, volo interno (o treno se il volo costa troppo), e poi vedo se è fattibile girare per le città da soli o se è meglio prendere una guida locale, visto che non parlano inglese ma solo uzbeko.
Non fa troppo freddo.... non riesco ad andare d'estate perchè fa troppo caldo, 40°!!!!
devo ancora prenotare tutto.

Visit Ichan Kala, the inner fortress, Muhammad Aminkhan Madrassah and its minaret, Kunya Ark and Juma mosque with 218 wooden pillars, the Harem of Khiva Khans, mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud, a famous ancient wrestler and poet who patronized Khiva. We will be happy to arrange for you traveling alone trip to Uzbekistan in December 2015 – January 2016.
Question: is it easy to go on foot from train stations to hotels? I would recommend you to use metro in Tashkent and taxi in other cities. Walking in December is not comfortable. It might snow.
I don't speak your language, I speak only english.... for a foreign tourist is it difficult to find hotels?The most people do not speak English at all. So it would be difficult to find hotels asking from people. You can better use Smartphones with installed Maps.

Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent- Urgench
Arrive in Tashkent. You will be met by our driver and transferred to the hotel.
Meet your guide and driver and start sightseeing capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imom Complex where the world famous Quran of Caliph Uthman– Ottoman has been preserved. In Khast-Imom visit Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu BakrKaffalShashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Explore Chor-Su Bazaar. Then take a ride on Tashkent Metro to city center with Amir Temur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum.
At 18:30 transfer to train station. Take an overnight train to Urgench departing at 19:30, and arriving on the next day at 13:05(1093 km, 17 h. 35 min.). Overnight in the train.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5-6 hours
Day 2: Urgench – Khiva
Arrive in Urgench at 13:05, transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 km, 35 min.). Enjoy free day in Khiva. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Khiva
Spend a day in UNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Kala Fortress. Visit Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, MukhammadRahimkhan Madrasah, Kalta Minor, Kunya-Ark, Juma Mosque, Toshkhovli Palace, PakhlavanMakhmud Mausoleum, Minaret of Islom-khodja. Free time in the afternoon.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5 hours
Day 4: Khiva –Bukhara
In the morning depart Khiva and drive to Bukhara (480 km, 7-8 h.*). The Great Silk Road once routed through Bukhara and Khiva ran through the Kyzylkum Desert, as the present road does nowadays**. Stop en-route to enjoy views of the desert and Amudarya River. Arrive in Bukhara late in the afternoon, check in to the hotel. Time for rest.Overnight at the hotel.
*we advise preparing lunch-boxes for this trip.

Day 5: Bukhara
Enjoy a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in Old City. Visit LyabiHauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, KalyanMosque,Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Bukhara
Start the second day with a visit to Sitorai-Mokhikhosa – summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir, unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture. Continue to BakhoutdinNaqshbandi Mausoleum and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. Enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Bukhara – Samarkand
At 07:30 transfer from hotel to train station. Take “Sharq” train to Samarkand departing at 08:40, arriving at 11:45 (270 km). Upon arrival you will be met by guide and driver to start city tour.
Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of BibiKhahum Mosque, Siyob Bazaar and Gur Emir Mausoleum – authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Overnight at hotel.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5-6 hours
Day 8: Samarkand – Tashkent
Check-out from the hotel till noon. Continue sightseeing: visit Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory and Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to KoniGhil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Enjoy free time with car and driver at your disposal after sightseeing tour. At 16:00 transfer to railway station.Take the fast-speed Afrosiyob train departing to Tashkent at 17:00 (300 km). Scheduled arrival time is 19:10. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Tashkent – departure
