CD music in Italy are much more expensive than in USA, and the same is for computer components, of course it depends in your host's tastes!

mmmm don't know what's Ruby Red Comstock but it looked like it's a kind od ink...
What about comic books for the girl, if she likes it it can be a nice way to learn/read english. Some american comics (or cartoons) are very popular in Italy, the Simpsons, Calvin & Hobbes, not to say Charlie Brown & C.
Maybe she will appreciate one of these or some new american one we still haven't got...
don't know it's just an idea... it's difficult to know without knowing exactly who are you giving the present...
