I have been living in North Pakistan for about 4 years in the heart of the Great Himalayan Range in the Northern Areas town of Gilgit. Here I share my time with good friends sometimes just enjoing the polo matches during the day and playing music under the star studded sky at night. Exploring remote valleys and peaks , or riding beautifull horses on the highest passes of the world, when ever I fell like.
I believe that travelling on horseback its the ultimate experience of what we call "travel", where you can experience the most of a culture and its landscape. Beside that travelling with a good friend it is very important and a horse its the best friend man can have !
Something that always fullfilled myself is to let others know about the most beautifull people and mountains I know... to give others the opportunity to experience what I had and more, but most of all travelling on a horse across the Hindukush...
come and visit us! on the road, simply as it is possible, wether its trekking or riding a horse across the highest mountain ranges of the world, hitchiking in the desert of the middle east, or riding a train across India , a bus along pilgrims routes in Central Asia or a car... any mean of transport is good for me, only I can't stand airplanes !
