Difficoltà
 Ottimo itinerario per chi non ha molti giorni per visitare il Nepal.
 Perfetto anche in estate.Programma:

- 1 giorno: Kathmandù
- 2 giorno: Kathmandu (Patan, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath)
- 3 giorno: Kathmandù - Bhaktapur
- 4 giorno: Bhaktapur - Panauti - Kathmandu
- 5 giorno: Kathmandu - Bandipur
- 6 giorno: Bandipur - Pokhara
- 7 giorno: Pokhara - Sarankot hill - Pokhara
- 8 Giorno:  Pokhara - Kathmandu
- 9 giorno: Kathmandu (Dakshinkali, Pharping, Kirtipur)
- 10 Giorno: Kathmandù

Nota: Dakshinkali si visita il martedì o il sabato, quindi lo spostiamo nel giorno giusto a seconda della data del vostro arrivo in Nepal.

Il primo giorno se volete vi veniamo a prendere all'aeroporto o alla stazione del bus e l'ultimo giorno vi ci riportiamo. Senza alcun supplemento.

Alloggio e Trasporti:Si dorme in confortevoli alberghi 3-4 stelle, camere doppie con bagno privato.
Ci si muove in Auto privata con autista (o pulmino se siete in tanti)
Inclusi nella quota:

Itinerario

Nota: a seconda del vostro giorno di partenza sistemeremo la visita a Dakshinkali, dove le cerimonie avvengono il martedì e il sabato.

Day 01                        Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at KTM airport. Meet, assist and transfer to hotel.   Kathmandu is unique and fascinating capital of Nepal, a deeply spiritual land isolated by the high Himalayas.

Overnight at hotel Manaslu or similar

 

Day 02                        Kathmandu

Morning: Kathmandu sightseeing tour visiting the Durbar square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati temple, Machhender Bahl-Holy place for the Buddhists and Hindus, temple house of Kumari, the vestal virgin or the living goddess.  Walk around the local bazaars. Later visit Swaymbhunath stupa, a Buddhist shrine believed to be more than 2000 yrs old on the hillock of western part of Kathmandu.

 

Afternoon : Visit of Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. Boudhanath has all seeing eyes of Buddha and believed to be built by King Mandeva.  Also visit Pashupatinath, famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Hindus cremate the dead body in the bank of Bagmati river which can be witnessed here.

Overnight at hotel Manaslu.

 

Day 03                        Kathmandu

Day excursion to Dakshinkali temple dedicated to Hindu Goddess Kali where animal sacrifices take place on every Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Visit famous Buddhist monastery of Pharping. Also visit Chovar and Kirtipur en route. Overnight at hotel Manaslu.

 

Day 04                        Kathmandu / Bhaktapur

Drive to Bhaktapur ( Bhadgaon). Bhaktapur means: "The city of devotees". Bhadgaon was founded in the 9th century and is shaped like a conch shell. Highlights: Durbar square the palace with 55 windows, Nyatapola temple, pottery square.  Bhaktapur is the place where most of the shooting of movie ‘ The Little Buddha’ was done by Italian Director, Bertroluchhi.  Also visit Changu Narayan Temple and Thimi village.

Overnight at Vajra Guesthouse or similar.

 

 

 

Day 05                        Bhaktapur / Panauti / Kathmandu

Visit Panauti village in the southeast of Bhaktpaur. Later drive back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day free.

Overnight at hotel Manaslu.

 

Day 06                        Kathmandu / Pokhara  

After breakfast drive to  Pokhara (200 km) . 

En route Rafting on Trisuli River OR a Cable Car ride to Manakamana temple.

Visit Lakeside and boating on Fewa Lake.

Overnight at hotel Lakeside Retreat or similar, Pokhara.

 

Day 07                        Pokhara

Early morning : Excursion to Sarankot with the possibility of short hike.

Afternoon : sightseeing of Davi’s falls, Tibetan camp and boating on Fewa Lake.

Overnight at hotel Lakeside Retreat or similar.

Day 08                        Pokhara / Bandipur

                        After breakfast drive to Bandipur ( 75 km / 2 hrs).

Bandipur village, a typical Newari and Tamang village which still carries traditional way of living.

Explore the village and relax in the afternoon.

Overnight at Old Inn ( common bath).

 

Day 09                        Bandipur / Kathmandu :

Drive back to Kathmandu (145 km / 4 hrs).

Check in to hotel . Rest of the day free.  

Overnight at hotel Manaslu, Kathmandu.

 

Day 10                        Departure

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out from hotel 1200 hrs.

 Transfer to airport to connect the return flight.

 

Tour cost includes :

a.         09 nights hotel accommodation on Bed & Breakfast basis as per the itinerary

b.         All transfers and sightseeing by a private vehicle throughout the trip.

d.         Service of a local Italian speaking guide in Kathmandu and a local English Speaking guide in Pokhara.

e.         Hotel taxes, monument entrance fees and boating in Pokhara.

f.          Rafting on Trisuli River OR a cable car ride as per the itinerary.

a.         Meals other than mentioned. 

b.         Expenses of private nature such as beverage, laundry, telephone etc.
